WiFi Not Working On Phone But Working On Other Devices

Let’s start with the reasons when you are tangled with why my WiFi is not working on my phone.

Is Overclocking Monitor Safe in the Long Run?

There can be a number of reasons that prevent your phone from not connecting to the WiFi. Not all of them are the results of complicated, technical issues.

Some reasons are simple mishaps in phone settings. A few are more serious and technical.

Let’s have a basic idea about them.

  • First, check if the WiFi connection of your phone is on or off. You may not agree with us but this is the most obvious reason for WiFi not working on Android or iPhone.
  • Bluetooth has a tendency to intervene with WiFi connections. The reason is Bluetooth and WiFi both use a radio frequency that is set on 2.4GHz. So Bluetooth can break off internet access completely or may slow it down considerably. So, when the Bluetooth is on, your phone may not have WiFi connection.
  • Each android or iPhone WiFi connector has an option – it can let the phone connect with the WiFi network automatically or you have to do it manually every time. So, keeping the auto reconnection off is another reason why internet is not working on my phone.
  • Every now and then, we need to turn on Airplane mode for various reasons. If we forget to turn off the option, we will have WiFi not working on an android phone but working on other devices.
  • If the cache memory of the phone is full, the device can get hung. This will also prevent the phone from getting a WiFi connection.
  • The service providers of mobile networks often set data usage limits – both on mobile data and data from WiFi connections. This can also result in my phone is connected to WiFi but no internet usage is possible.
  • The broadband service providers may also impose limits on routers for data usage. That is another reason for which you won’t be able to use the internet on your phone.
  • If there are any technical issues with the router – like it needs rebooting or resetting – your phone will not get a WiFi connection.
